After working with glass for several years, I’ve discovered innovative ways to recycle it into products that are both practical and accessible for everyday use.
My name is Wesley Ritter and my work currently centers around two innovative products—a soil enhancer made from recycled glass and a filtration media designed for swimming pools.
About Us
My journey with glass began in 2018, when I discovered how much perfectly good glass was being tossed into landfills. With only 31% of glass currently recycled, that means about 7.6 million tons are wasted every year. Glass may be tricky to recycle—but that challenge inspired me to get creative.
After working with glass for several years, I’ve discovered innovative ways to recycle it into products that are both practical and accessible for everyday use. Here’s a fun glass fact: bottles and jars don’t play well with dishes or Pyrex. Different types of glass melt at different temperatures, so mixing them can ruin the recycling process.
We proudly collect glass from recycling centers throughout McDonald, Newton, Jasper, Barton, and Vernon counties in Missouri, and we’re actively expanding to serve additional locations. By partnering with local communities, we’re helping keep more recyclable material out of landfills and in productive use.
We specialize in recycling container glass — items like bottles and jars. At this time, we’re unable to accept materials such as window glass or dishware, as they require different processing methods.
As we continue to grow, we’re scaling our operations to collect and transform more than 1,000 tons of glass annually into sustainable finished products — increasing our impact while supporting a cleaner, more resource-efficient future.

Our Products
Soil Enhancer
These materials improve drainage, balance moisture, and provide plant-available silica that helps promote strong, resilient root growth as well as pest control for the plant.
Crush-Glass Blasting Media
Crushed glass provides a safer, high-performing, and environmentally responsible alternative to traditional sandblasting materials such as silica sand and other abrasive media.
Reflective Glass Media
Crushed glass used in highway striping enhances nighttime visibility by reflecting headlights back to drivers, improving roadway safety while providing a durable and sustainable alternative to traditional reflective materials.
Swimming Pool Filter Media
Crushed recycled glass is a sustainable alternative to silica sand for pool filtration, offering efficient performance, broad sanitizer compatibility, and reduced backwashing that saves water and maintenance time.
Soil Enhancer - Golf Specific
Crushed, recycled glass offers a sustainable, high-performance alternative to sand on golf courses, providing firmer bunkers, better drainage, reduced ball plugging, and a safe, non-toxic option that minimizes reliance on mined sand.
